A quick correction concerning the Muslum girl who after divorcing her Muslum husband, which was considered insulting, was killed by men sent by her parents, this was an honor killing, I mistakingly referred to it as a mercy killing. What a great uplifting message from Pastor Mitch this morning-God cares for us. In this fast paced society we can easily forget that great truth. Thank you Mitch for reminding us of this foundational attribute of our God. Jesus certainly cares for his followers enough to issue an alert of possible danger to us. Last week in class we used the alert by the FDA concerning Pillsbury cookie dough, how some flavors contained E-coli. In like manner Jesus alerts us of possible health risks(spiritual) by saying BEWARE of false prophets. This is a tinely alert as today there are many false prophets. In class we also cited examples of the spiritual and physical health risks of believing the teachings of false prophets. Thanks be to our great God for His care of us. See you in class July 5th. Mike
