We had a great final day of Worship camp and a wonderful concert.

We didn’t do any written journaling today, but we did do some interviews and some of the material was used in our Grand Finale Video which you can see here:

We are hard at work getting the master video done for you all and hope to mail you out a DVD in the coming week.

Sadly enough, we forgot to record our songs on Friday morning and the computer gave us an error message on  Friday evening, so all we have is the audio from the tiny mic in the video camera.  We’ll still be taking all that audio and mixing it down as best as we can to put onto a CD for you to keep, but please accept our apologies that the quality isn’t what we were hoping for.

We’re having a great time at worship camp and will continue to post reports each day here.

Day 4

We had a great day again today.  We talked about how music is part of spiritual warfare.  We talked about how our physical posture in affects our emotions and our spiritual walk. We got an overview of church music history and how the microphone changed the world of music.  It was pretty hot, but we got some great practicing in as well.  We’re looking forward to tomorrow:

Friday: 9-12 Camp, 6:30 Sound Check, 7:00 worship concert and dessert potluck!  Don’t forget to invite your friends and family and bring something yummy to share!

Day 3

We had another great day today including:

• sharing time from the Psalms
• Hands on sound system trouble shooting, chord building, digital mixing and video production
• Pop Music Theory using Nashville Numbers System
• Lunch and snacks of course
• “Injury” stories
• And just some good practice time!
