Our next Bible Study is Saturday, Feb. 18th from 8am – 9:30am following a delicious, hearty breakfast. We’ll be continuing our “Be a Man…” series with a viewing of Mark Driscoll’s “Marriage & Men” sermon. Our goal with this series is to study and discuss the characteristics of the man God made each of us to be. I hope you’ll join us… and don’t forget your Bible!

Mar 2 – 4: Men’s Advance @ Warm Beach Camp, $89 incl. event + meals
June 28 – Jul 1: Family Campout @ Wenatchee Confluence State Park, around $35 per family covers camping but meals and transportation on your own. Activities will include: Volleyball, Football, Bocce Ball, Swimming, Hiking, Board Games, Childrens activities, Croquet and more!
August 17 – 19: Community Men’s Campout @ Camano State Park, $30 includes camping + meals. Make checks payable to “ROL” or “River of Life”. Max 150 guys & their sons!

Consider attending ‘The Art of Marriage’ on Feb 3rd & 4th. This is a Family Life conference, sponsored by Island Baptist. Online registration is easy at https://islandbaptistchurch.webconnex.com/art_of_marriage. Cost is $50/couple (lunch included), and the event runs from 7-9:30pm on Friday and 9am-4pm on Saturday.
The Art of Marriage consists of six video sessions and an accompanying manual that provides couples with projects to help apply the principles taught during each session. The Art of Marriage brings together some of the most respected and influential pastors and experts on marriage and family all in one setting. It also brings a fresh approach to a video event by weaving together some of the following elements to help couples fully experience God’s design for marriage:
- engaging stories
- real-life testimonies
- man-on-the-street interviews
- humorous vignettes
Consider attending our new six week series ‘The Hole in Our Gospel’ Sundays at 10 am in the Worship Center led by Chris Maier & Pastor Mitch. This class is for high school, college and adults.

August 17th – 19th: Stanwood/Camano Men’s Campout at Camano Island State Park group camp and cabins with other area churches. $30 per man will cover all your food, camping and parking for the weekend… including a Crab & Rib Feed on Saturday night! What happened to the plan for the Oct 23? It’s a victim of it’s own suc- cess. Courageous has been so popular and done so well in the theaters where it has played that no one wants to give up their copy and it’s ex- pensive to make additional prints, so we have to wait until the Stanwood theatre can get a copy. Watch the bulletin for further updates.
Join us from 8:00 – 9:30am for fellowship with other guys over a delicious, manly meal. No cost to attend, but an offering will be taken for food. All men and their sons are welcome. Our brother and deacon Ray Warlick will be sharing his testimony.
