Candlelight Christmas Eve Service: Saturday, December 24th 6pm (Nursery & Jr. Church only)
Christmas Day Service: Sunday, December 25th, 10am (Nursery & Jr. Church only, no Sunday School)
New Year’s Day Service: Sunday, January 1st, 10am (Nursery & Jr. Church only, no Sunday School)
Fellow worship musicians and technicians… the time is almost here! $30 for adults, $20 for students and groups of 5 or more.
If you are coming, please register ASAP so we can make sure and have enough food and instructors for you!
We’ve got a great lineup of some of the best of the best local trainers, and even just getting to meet and jam with others local players like you should be lots of fun!
We want to see everyone have a local mentor/teacher/rabbi and a local disciple/student/apprentice in their area of service. Do you have someone local to look up to as a bass player/sound tech/guitar player/worship leader/ … and do you have someone that you are training, praying for and investing in?
Come join us as we follow Jesus and his directions to “Go into all the world and make disciples!!!”
How can you help? 3 easy steps
1) Pray that God’s will would be done and his Kingdom would come through this event!
2) Join the event on facebook and then invite your friends too!
3) Register officially on our eventbrite site. If you are pretty confident you’ll have a group of 5 but don’t have it all figured out yet, go ahead and register at the $20 price. We trust you, and we’d rather be better prepared in advance than have 10 extra groups of 5 register on the last day.
I am confident that great things will happen this Saturday! Looking forward to see you all there!
By the way, I’ve had a few questions on age, and I would say that 12 and under should get special approval to come, but anyone over that should be just fine.

Our next Bible Study is Saturday, Feb. 18th from 8am – 9:30am following a delicious, hearty breakfast. We’ll be continuing our “Be a Man…” series with a viewing of Mark Driscoll’s “Marriage & Men” sermon. Our goal with this series is to study and discuss the characteristics of the man God made each of us to be. I hope you’ll join us… and don’t forget your Bible!
We are also starting sign ups for our 3 events coming up, don’t wait:
Mar 2 – 4: Men’s Advance @ Warm Beach Camp, $89 incl. event + meals
June 28 – Jul 1: Family Campout @ Wenatchee Confluence State Park, around $35 per family covers camping but meals and transportation on your own. Activities will include: Volleyball, Football, Bocce Ball, Swimming, Hiking, Board Games, Childrens activities, Croquet and more!
August 17 – 19: Community Men’s Campout @ Camano State Park, $30 includes camping + meals. Make checks payable to “ROL” or “River of Life”. Max 150 guys & their sons!

Consider attending ‘The Art of Marriage’ on Feb 3rd & 4th. This is a Family Life conference, sponsored by Island Baptist. Online registration is easy at https://islandbaptistchurch.webconnex.com/art_of_marriage. Cost is $50/couple (lunch included), and the event runs from 7-9:30pm on Friday and 9am-4pm on Saturday.
The Art of Marriage consists of six video sessions and an accompanying manual that provides couples with projects to help apply the principles taught during each session. The Art of Marriage brings together some of the most respected and influential pastors and experts on marriage and family all in one setting. It also brings a fresh approach to a video event by weaving together some of the following elements to help couples fully experience God’s design for marriage:

- real-life testimonies
- man-on-the-street interviews
- humorous vignettes

Consider attending our new six week series ‘The Hole in Our Gospel’ Sundays at 10 am in the Worship Center led by Chris Maier & Pastor Mitch. This class is for high school, college and adults.
