MOPS (Mothers Of Pre-Schoolers) is an international organization for all moms of infant to kindergarten age children that provides opportunities to meet other moms and make the journey of motherhood together. MOPS exists to equip, encourage, develop and provide moms with what they want and need most-a chance to learn from eachother, celebrate motherhood, support and encourage eachother, and laugh a lot.
At our meetings moms enjoy a chance to socialize with other moms both together in a large group and also in smaller discussion groups that allow you to get to know moms more closely. In other words, it’s like a playdate for moms! You can share experiences and know you are not alone by getting together with other moms who are going through the same stuff, all while your children are having their own awesome time with our loving Moppets Leaders.
God created us for relationship! It’s one of the defining parts of being human. However, when you become a mom, all your relationships change. Its like you have landed on a different planet “Planet Mom” and the relationships on Planet Mom don’t look like the ones on your previous planet. Your relationship with yourself is different-you’re a mom! Your relationship with your husband, girlfriends, extended family, community and God have all changed. Many of these changes are positive, some are not. Even positive change requires adjustments on your part. During this next MOPS year, we will explore how to thrive in relationships Together on Planet Mom.
At Cedarhome we will be meeting on the first and third Tuesdays of the month, from 9am to 11:30am. Childcare is available for your children ages Infancy through Kindergarten.

On September 15th, we had our first official meeting as a new MOPS Group and it was pretty exciting! It so amazing to see this group finally come together after all the planning and anticipation over the summer. We currently have five groups of ladies and childcare for children ages infancy through five years old. We are looking forward to an awesome year with many great acitivities and speakers.
